Read about this old mining district here (In Swedish)
One of the first mines I came across.
Entrance to Tilas Stoll.
The 26 meter long tunnel in to Tilas Stoll (yes, it's me sitting there)
Pretty cool place, no other tourists where there wich made it a little bit more exciting.
Straight up HDR, 3 exposures handheld.
HDR again same place.
Here I am again, used myself as a size reference.
Ättestupa norr om Högboda, Lake north of Högboda, Vikings supposedly pushed elderly people off the cliffs here, however according to historians this practice is probably a myth.
Found this gorgeous place by accident.
Enjoying the afternoon sun!
Went to Alster to see if I could take some pictures of a beaver couple that lives in the small river next to Frödings old home. Did not see any beavers so I took some pictures of the surroundings.
Because of the boring grey spring weather I made the decision to play around a bit. This is an HDR picture, I used an ND8 filter because I wanted to use a longer exposure time to get the desired effect on the water.
Took this shot (5 exposures) from a bird watching tower close to Vänern south of Alster mansion. As you can see there is a very boring sky. Used photomatix "painting" preset on this one.
Heard this train comming so I dialed in "S" on my Nikon and chose a exposure time with the purpose to get a blurry background behind the train. The funny thing is that last time I was here I took a picture of exactly ( I think) this train.
As soon as the train was gone I saw a couple of Canadian goose take off, of course I forgot to change the exposure time on the camera so all shots came out blurry However sometimes I think blurry pictures has its own charm so I picked this one out and made a black and white version.
Finally i shot this hdr of a wreck in the stream.
-1°C and quite windy, fortunately I brought my gloves with me. I got a major brainfart on my way out to Hammarö. My goal was to test my new ND8 filter, i wanted to try the
silky water effect. At home I thought to myself that it should be quite big waves in this windy condition WTF… how could I forget that the whole friggin lake has been covered
by ice the last couple of months. Maybe I should get rid of my Iphone and use my own brain to remember things, instead of making notes everytime there is something important to remember
This one is not HDR. I merged two pictures to get a lighter foreground.
I got a warm fuzzy feeling.
Denna bilden blev den första jag tjänat en slant på (förutom några bilder på shutterstock som jag kanske dragit in 10:- på)
