Karlstad different locations at sunset.
Blev en snabb tur när jag var nere på staden med en kompis, såg att det kunde bli en rätt så fin solnedgång så jag passade på att ta några snabba bilder.
Första blev en bild på Knappstad tagen över den totalt frusna Klarälven. Solen är på väg ner.
Vy över Orrholmsviken, himlen börjar brinna ordentligt.
Isvak, här övade visst långfärdsskridskoåkarna att plurra enligt min vän Tomas.
Bryggudden, Karlstads nya stolthet. Av någon anledning börjar jag tänka på Cape Canaveral när jag ser bilden. Bara Apollo 11 som fattas.
Karlstad triathlon 2012
Vänner till mig deltog så jag plockade med kameran i det underbara vädret för att föreviga händelsen, naturligtvis fastnade för mig okända personer på bilderna också.
Denna herren såg ut att tillhöra eliten, försökte panorera så gott det gick (1/30s) för att få ”fart” i bilderna, det gick sisådär. Upptäckte när jag redigerade bilderna att jag glömt ställa om ison sen sist. Tog bilderna med iso 800 vilket var helt i onödan.

Båtbussen gled förbi.
Kl var ca 15.30. Skulle jag åka hem och se handbollsfinalen eller åka till Skutberget och bada. Valet var enkelt, det fick bli Skutberget och med facit i hand så var det rätt beslut.

While I was waiting for the postman to deliver my new Ipad 2 I managed to shoot this sunset. This location is a popular spot to fish for Pike-perch (zander,walleye)

Spring flood in the autumn? lots of water in Klarälven at the moment. Took the boat and went up the river Klarälven that runs through Karlstad. The plan was to go around Karlstad. We had to turn around at Gubbholmen as our boat could not go under the bridge (damn,Red hot chilli peppers….)

Day three on Vänern, Onsön and the river Klarälven.
Of course I managed to forget that I hade tried to shoot with ISO 3200 yesterday. So a lot of these shots were taken with ISO 3200 in broad day light 
, If you have a sharp eye you can probably sort out the ISO 3200 from the ones shot with ISO 200.

Earlier that same day I saw this seagull use a boat to poop on...
Then he took off to poop somewhere else...
When we went home there was a queue on the river.
There was a smart cow enjoying the swell from the passing boats...

The sight of the cows was almost an religious experience,,,
The sight of Jakobsbergsbron brought me back to reality.
And forced me to use the legal speed (?) of 5 knots again...
I looked back and saw other boats slogging around the bend in 5 knots...
When we came back from where we started the seagull was back doing his business...
