While I was waiting for the postman to deliver my new Ipad 2 I managed to shoot this sunset. This location is a popular spot to fish for Pike-perch (zander,walleye)

Spring flood in the autumn? lots of water in Klarälven at the moment. Took the boat and went up the river Klarälven that runs through Karlstad. The plan was to go around Karlstad. We had to turn around at Gubbholmen as our boat could not go under the bridge (damn,Red hot chilli peppers….)

Day three on Vänern, Onsön and the river Klarälven.
Of course I managed to forget that I hade tried to shoot with ISO 3200 yesterday. So a lot of these shots were taken with ISO 3200 in broad day light 
, If you have a sharp eye you can probably sort out the ISO 3200 from the ones shot with ISO 200.

This is Jonte, he is three years old and he helped me move the log he now is sitting on.

Then he noticed the paparazzi...
and fled with a friend to the waiting luxoriuous yacht Kuttra7.
Earlier that same day I saw this seagull use a boat to poop on...
Then he took off to poop somewhere else...
When we went home there was a queue on the river.
There was a smart cow enjoying the swell from the passing boats...
A cow enjoying life...
The sight of the cows was almost an religious experience,,,
The sight of Jakobsbergsbron brought me back to reality.
And forced me to use the legal speed (?) of 5 knots again...
I looked back and saw other boats slogging around the bend in 5 knots...
When we came back from where we started the seagull was back doing his business...
Alster…
Went to Alster to see if I could take some pictures of a beaver couple that lives in the small river next to Frödings old home. Did not see any beavers so I took some pictures of the surroundings.
Because of the boring grey spring weather I made the decision to play around a bit. This is an HDR picture, I used an ND8 filter because I wanted to use a longer exposure time to get the desired effect on the water.
Took this shot (5 exposures) from a bird watching tower close to Vänern south of Alster mansion. As you can see there is a very boring sky. Used photomatix "painting" preset on this one.
Heard this train comming so I dialed in "S" on my Nikon and chose a exposure time with the purpose to get a blurry background behind the train. The funny thing is that last time I was here I took a picture of exactly ( I think) this train.
As soon as the train was gone I saw a couple of Canadian goose take off, of course I forgot to change the exposure time on the camera so all shots came out blurry However sometimes I think blurry pictures has its own charm so I picked this one out and made a black and white version.
Finally i shot this hdr of a wreck in the stream.

On the hunt for beaver in Alsterdalen,Karlstad ,Sweden.
Did not find any beaver, lots of trees though.
